Designed specifically for the Dan Wesson 1911 and Commander pistols, this rear sight features our SlantPro design. The SlantPro style rear sight is designed with concealed carry (EDC) as its primary focus. The sight is contoured and completely snag free. The rear face is serrated and slightly slanted forward to help eliminate glare from any light source. One single tritium insert in the rear (for low-light and night-time shooting) that aligns vertically with the single tritium front insert (when used with a tritium front) creates a distinctly clear sight picture. This vertical alignment is proven to be faster and less confusing for the human eye.
The rear sight in this set utilizes the Heinie EZ-Lock mechanism that allows the sight to slide smoothly into the rear dovetail, yet remain secure on your slide once installation is completed properly. Melonite finish on rear is rust resistant. Installation instructions are provided.
